All the paintings presented in this web site, with the exception of the 1904 Mercedes, are on gallery wrapped stretched canvas. The wooden frame on which the canvas is stretched is 1.5 inches thick. The canvas is stretched completely around the edge of the wooden frame. The painting continues around the edge, therefore the paintings do not require framing. The paintings are not intended to be framed but that is a personal preference and of course the paintings may be framed.
